Ivan is an Associate at Commercial & Infrastructure, where he leads the firm’s innovation initiatives and the team responsible for developing C&I’s internal AI tools. His focus is on identifying smarter ways for the business to estimate and deliver projects, turning day-to-day challenges into practical tools that support the business.

A civil engineer, estimator and quantity surveyor with more than ten years of experience across Australia and Brazil, he brings a diverse background spanning both construction and cost consultancy. Before transitioning into cost advisory, he spent years working on major construction sites overseas, delivering civil and structural works for large mining and industrial operations, from reinforced concrete foundations and heavy pavements to earthworks, drainage and retaining structures. That time in the field, leading teams and solving problems on the ground, shapes how he approaches cost planning and project delivery today.

Driven by curiosity and a passion for continuous improvement, Ivan is always looking for better ways of working. He enjoys sharing knowledge across the team and applies an engineer’s mindset to the AI tools he develops, ensuring they are practical, reliable and held to the same standard as the projects they support.
