As a Brisbane native with over 30 years of international leadership in infrastructure, both client side and Tier 1 contractor across Australia, the Middle East and Asia, Michael brings an outstanding track record of delivering transformative mega-projects valued at more than $11.5 billion. His expertise spans large-scale program management, transport and energy infrastructure, ECI and alliance procurements, modern methods of construction, digital delivery and sustainability – perfectly aligned with Commercial & Infrastructure’s growth ambitions and the unprecedented pipeline of work here in Queensland.

Michael has led iconic global projects including the $17B Diriyah Gate cultural mega-project in Saudi Arabia (where he built the Program Management Office) the $1B Al Janoub FIFA World Cup Stadium in Qatar (delivered 18 months early) and the $600M Expo Village Dubai (full design to delivery lifecycle). Back home in Brisbane, most recently providing strategic advice on Brisbane infrastructure, he has grown new state businesses across transport, health, education and energy sectors across all service lines.
