Edmonson Avenue Upgrade

The upgrade of Edmondson Avenue, between Bringelly Road and Fifteenth Avenue, will see the two-lane rural road converted to a four-lane road and new intersections to improve traffic flow and road safety. The project involves significant utility relocations, bulk earthworks and new pavements, stormwater upgrades, new bridge structures, property adjustments and ancillary civil works.

Commercial & Infrastructure were engaged to provide 100% detailed design construction cost estimates for Stage 1 and 2 of the Project. Our team provided full quantification of the design packages, produced first principles estimation, calculated P50 and P90 outturn costs while identifying value and risk management aspects throughout the project. Our team effectively communicated the project estimates with our design partner in order to explore areas of commercial and design value management.
