Sandringham Seawall and Cycleway
Bayside Council is near completion of procuring a Contractor to repair the collapsed Sandringham seawall and improve the adjoining footpath. The project involves installing a rock buffer along the seawall foreshore, extending from Sandringham Beach to Vanston Baths to curb tidal sand movement and seawall damage. Furthermore, it includes footpath enhancements, such as widening for a cycleway and new lighting.
Bayside Council has engaged Commercial & Infrastructure to provide a detailed cost estimate for the Sandringham Seawall and Cycleway project. This estimate will serve as a reference against the tender prices for the Council’s decision-making process. We have reviewed tender documentation, such as drawings, reports, and schedules, to derive a first-principle cost estimate, accounting for the expected construction method, the required contractor tier, and the project scope.
