Greater Parramatta and Olympic Peninsula New Water Resource Recovery Facility
The project involves the construction of a new water resource recovery facility (WRRF) called the Greater Parramatta and Olympic Peninsula WRRF. The site was previously operated as a fuel production facility which has resulted in significant ground contamination and risk of aromatic hydrocarbon vapours. Given the contamination threat, the solution was to encapsulate the site with clean fill to up to 2.5m depth prior to construction of the new WRRF.
Commercial & Infrastructure were engaged in a cost advisory capacity across the development stages of the project. The C&I team provided first principles estimation, supported the development of tender schedules, quantitative risk analysis and aided the commercial team during tender evaluation and risk management.
