Snowy Hydro 2.0
Snowy Hydro 2.0 is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia. The project aims to drive the nation’s secure and stable transition to a low-carbon emissions future. The project involves linking two existing dams, Tantangara and Talbingo, through 27km of tunnels as well as building a new underground power station. The project will provide flexible, on-demand power while utilising solar power, wind and water flow to generate energy.
Commercial & Infrastructure were engaged directly by Future Generation JV (FGJV) in order to undertake an independent review of their handover and completions processes. Our executive team worked hand in hand with senior members of Snowy Hydro and the D&C Contractor to discuss existing constraints and limitations of these processes, prior to issuing a full review for the wider group. Our team are now engaged to support the FGJV through the project, assisting through the handover and completions process.
