Hawkesbury Nepean Valley Road Resilience Program – Regional + Local Roads
The Hawkesbury Nepean Valley Road Resilience Program – Regional/Local Roads Project (HNV FERR) is a proposed series of flood resilience upgrade works across regional and local Roads (council managed) in the Hawkesbury-Nepean Valley, located to the northwest of Sydney. The HNV FERR Project aims to reduce disruptions to the evacuation road network during flash flooding events and provide additional capacity along identified key flood evacuation routes. The project consists of new road widening works, utility relocation and protection, significant drainage upgrade works and level increases across existing roads.
Commercial & Infrastructure were engaged to provide and independent review of the project estimates during the Concept Design Stage, in order to provide budget assurance to the TfNSW project team prior to the FBC submission. Our team integrated into the wider project team, providing critical review of estimate quantities, rates and assumptions as well as providing ongoing support throughout the finalisation of the FBC budget.
