Port Botany and Port of Brisbane – Partial Expansion

The Port Botany and Port of Brisbane – Partial Expansion project aims to expand the capacity and efficiency of two of Australia’s busiest ports. The project involves the construction of new infrastructure and the upgrade of existing facilities to accommodate larger vessels and increased cargo volumes. At Port Botany, located in Sydney, the project involves the construction of a new container terminal on the site of the existing Bay Terminal. At the Port of Brisbane, located in Queensland, the project involves the upgrade of the existing container terminal to allow for larger vessels and increased cargo volumes.

As part of the development of the Port Botany and Port of Brisbane – Partial Expansion project, our team was tasked with developing concept estimates for both ports. This involved working closely with the designer to identify the scope of work required, including the delivery model as well as undertaking a detailed review of the specific risk profile to inform project contingencies.
