Sydney Metro West Project

The Sydney Metro West Project involves construction of a new 24km metro railway which will service Sydney’s CBD from the State’s Western suburbs. The once-in-a-century project is a true mega-project, and involves construction of new tunnels, new stations, signalling/systems and procurement of new rolling stock.

Commercial & Infrastructure key personnel were tasked with providing an independent review of the internal risk management framework for the client. This included thorough assessment of the current frameworks, identifying areas within the framework which could be improved and providing alternative structures/processes for Sydney Metro’s consideration.

Our team were further engaged to provide general risk management training to new members of the project team, running through general risk management and calculation processes within the industry.
